Jurgen Klopp Includes 17-Year-Old ‘Rolls-Royce’ in Liverpool Training ahead of Sparta Prague Clash

Liverpool aims to extend their winning streak to seven matches across all competitions as they gear up for Europa League action on Thursday evening.

The Reds are set to take on Sparta Prague, the reigning Czech champions and current league leaders, at the Epet Arena with a kickoff time of 5:45pm.

Following their defeat to Arsenal, Liverpool bounced back impressively by securing victories in their next six games, including a triumph in the Carabao Cup final. Sitting atop the Premier League table and advancing to the FA Cup quarter-finals, the team now shifts their focus towards European progress.

Ahead of their journey to Czechia, the Liverpool media team shared images from their final training session, featuring several young talents. Among them was 17-year-old defender Amara Nallo, who has been making waves in Liverpool’s Under-18 and Under-21 squads this season.

Nallo, a notable signing for Liverpool’s academy last summer from West Ham, arrived alongside fellow prospects Trey Nyoni and Harvey Owen. Despite his young age, Nallo has already amassed 16 appearances for Liverpool at various age levels, including 11 outings for the Under-21s.

Although Nallo did not travel to Prague for the Europa League fixture, his presence in training with the senior squad is encouraging. It indicates that he has captured the attention of Klopp and the coaching staff, hinting at a promising future at Anfield.

Describing Nallo as a standout talent, Carlton Cole, former Under-16s coach at West Ham, praised the young defender’s abilities last year. Cole likened Nallo to a “Rolls-Royce” of a centre-back, highlighting his exceptional left foot, elegant ball control, proficiency with both feet, and ongoing development in heading abilities.

With such high praise and recognition from seasoned coaches, Nallo’s potential appears promising as he continues his development within Liverpool’s ranks.
